SAIS Bao’an Parent-Teacher Conference Overview

Grades 10-12 Begins with Music and Academic Focus, Led by Principal Dr. Swati Parents of Grades 10-12 students gathered for a morning of engagement at the recent Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC). 

The session began with an uplifting assembly featuring a performance of Lean on Me by students, led by Music Teacher Mr. Leon. Principal Dr. Swati Nigam welcomed parents and highlighted the importance of strong communication to support student achievement.

Academic Overview and Tools

Parents were briefed on:

· ManageBac Overview: Navigating the platform to track progress and access report cards.

· Q1 Report Summary: Understanding the report’s relevance to future assessments.

· Exam & Grading Insights: Details on the structure of upcoming exams and grading criteria.

One-on-One Meetings

Following the assembly, parents met with subject teachers to receive tailored feedback on their child’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement, fostering collaborative plans for continued growth.

Grades 6-9 PTC Highlights

In the afternoon, Grades 6-9 parents attended their session, starting with a welcome by Dr. Swati Nigam. Key topics included using ManageBac for report cards, a summary of Q1 reports, and updates on after-school activities via SchoolBuddy. Parents then met with teachers for individual discussions on student performance.
